2. Google Analytics & Your Cookie Choice

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with AyurAlgo. When you first visit the site, a bar at the bottom of the screen asks you to Accept or Decline analytics cookies. Google Analytics does not begin collecting data on your device until you choose Accept — if you Decline, no analytics cookie is set and only anonymous, aggregated traffic signals are used. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage — not a cookie — so you won't be asked again on return visits, and you can change it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for ayuralgo.com.

Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, which can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Bot & Spam Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To keep our free weekly note signup free of spam and automated abuse, the subscribe form on this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-respecting alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile runs automatically when you use the subscribe form; in most cases it works silently in the background without asking you to do anything, and occasionally it may ask you to complete a simple check.

Turnstile does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It runs regardless of your analytics cookie choice above, since it isn't an analytics or advertising tool — it exists solely to confirm that a subscribe request is coming from a real person rather than an automated script. Cloudflare processes limited technical signals (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) for this purpose only, in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. AyurAlgo itself does not set any cookies of its own — your cookie-banner choice and, where applicable, your quiz result are stored in your browser's local storage instead, which never leaves your device. Google Analytics — used on this site — places an analytics cookie only after you choose Accept via the consent bar described above. Cloudflare Turnstile, described in Section 3, does not use cookies at all.

You can also control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of this website.

5. Advertising

AyurAlgo does not currently display any advertisements. In the future, we may partner with third-party advertising networks. If and when that happens, this policy will be updated to reflect the data practices of those networks before any ads are served.
